Thanks to many "contributots" (especially Martin) I tried 10s of kernel
images on my Rs/6000 43P model 140.
The machine always hangs, but I don't think it actually crashes when
initalizing the console. Infa

patches at :

i could not build the package, but this should work as well, just copy it to
/usr/X11R6/bin/XF68_FBDev_accel, and change the name of the server in
/etc/
