for which I produce 8 reasonably sized (IMHO) binary packages.
I wouldn't like to split them even more, so packages like
xfonts-intl-european or xfonts-intl-japanese-big should be compatible
with the font packages naming policy.

against inclusion of programs without license or its translation in
English.
I think requiring inclusion of (at least) unofficial English translation
of non-English license in the package in main is appropriate. I also
think the original license should be always included in the package of
cours
I don't think it's a good idea to have few letters
binaries, but I would rename already existing user programs only if some
conflict arised.

Why to waste space for some non-free package instead?

Yes, I prefer something like `xfonts-path { --add | --remove }' tool, which
would edit appropriate config files and restart appropriate daemons.

#x27;s X fonts package :-).
I'm preparing its new version and I'd like to know the proper way, where and
how to add new pathes (I can imagine some hacks, but I'd prefer some standard
way).
I think there may be other packages (like games with funny fonts) installing
their own fonts.
