(/usr/doc/debian-policy/fsstnd/fsstnd-1.2.txt.gz) the following text is
found: ``All device special files should follow the standard in that
document, which is available via anonymous ftp at ftp.yggdrasil.com
in /pub/device

In /usr/doc/debian-policy/policy.html/ch2.html it says:
Packages may not depend on packages with lower priority values. If this
should happen, one of the priority values will have to be adapted.
I think this is unclear. Especially the second sentence

I want to see your reasoned proposals for a better direction for the
