호랑이는 죽어서 가죽을 남기고 사람은 죽어서 이름을 남긴다
Hi Vasyl,
using kodi version 2:19.4+dfsg1-2 I don't have an issue right now.
Thank you very much
Harri
Hi Harald!
Today 2:19.4+dfsg1-2 migrated to testing.
Do you still experience the issue or I can close the bug?

After installing the intel-media-va-driver package it worked until
yesterday. Today it doesn't, but that seems to be the fault of a new
libigdgmm12 package.
Regards
Harri
Does it work now?

Found it on https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/va-api-meldet-fehler-bei-vainfo/:
The intel-media-va-driver package was missing, as it seems.
Thanx for your help
Harri

Hi Harald,
Can you please run "glxinfo" and "vainfo" as the user you're running Kodi?
For me it looks like a permission problem which I posted the solution for
on Kodi Wiki:

Please let me know if
This is X. I have attached the logfile. Hope this helps.

Hi Harald,
Your renderer is set to NULL. How do you invoke Kodi? Is it X.Org or Wayland?

Package: kodi
Version: 2:19.3+dfsg1-1+b1
kodi doesn't show on my shiny new Intel NUC NUC11TNKi3. No splash screen.
No input menu. No crash AFAICS, it just exits. I don't even have a chance
to modify kodi's settings.
Logfile is attached.
