because I think it might be the same problem, even if I am not using
smplayer with mplayer, but with mpv . I hope I am not mistaken.

the package description of the kodi-visualization-shadertoy package
currently uses a comma (",") instead of a dot (".") to separate the
last two paragraphs. As a result the paragraphs are not treated as
separated and the comma is visible.
