It will be removed semi-automatically by rene; I don't think it checks
reverse dependencies, but that's okay in the development branch. You
could send the maintainer of the package depending on libsysfs0 a
warning.

Your debian/changelog is probably in UTF-8 while your debian/control
is in Latin1. katie currently doesn't know anything about UTF-8 and
so the comparison fails. I submitted a patch for this a while ago.

I just checked; it seems as if there is really no one closer... so, to
answer your original question, a GPG signed photo ID will do for the
NM ID check.
