After Chris' comment on copyright file, I made more extensive changes to
that to be inline with the chngelog dates and various authors, hopefully
that would be better and sufficient per Debian policy, if not then any
guidance on that would be appreciated.

I've delayed the copyright updates until we've discussed this upstream, so
no changes there for the time being.
The Maintainers field has been changed to a mailing list, so that the key
people involved would always get notified. I've seen this being done by

As the 2 bugs have now been merged, this one seems to be the active one.
I've uploaded anew version on the 28th July to mentors, so if someone could
