Thanks for the reply. Spent the whole day (and evening!) doing my best
to go through all the necessary steps to learn how to create a reliable
first Debian package, but guess I'm not totally surprised it is not
quite correct somehow!

When a new package is uploaded very first time, does the foo-app_1.0.tar.xz
and foo-app_1.0.dsc are mandatory.
Do I need to upload both source and binary package or is it upto me if I
want to upload just the binary package.
