Hi,
I'm trying to build project-389 on Debian, and I need the mozldap
(ldapsdk) package for Debian. I searched for it in Alioth, but it isn't.
Is there a known repository for this package please?
Regards.

Hello, I request the help of a mentor to aid me with some package building
issue.
Currently I'm developing a library and a command line tool with Autotools. I
have 3 directories: lib for the library code, include for the headers and
src for the command tool code.

I tried but it seems libfoo.install and libfoo-dev.install contents doesn't
have any filter effect. Despite of the contents of these files (as pattern:
lib*.so*, full name: libfoo.so.0.1.0 or full path name:
/usr/lib/libfoo.so.0.1.0) debuild always collected all files placed in

Nevermind.
After read the debhelper documentation I uncommented the dh_install line in
the debian/rules Makefile:
binary-arch: install
...
...
dh_install
...
...
Now all files copied in debian/tmp are copied to proper directories libfoo
and libfoo-dev applying the libfoo.install and libfoo-d

Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "rubyripper". It provides a cli and
gui program to rip CDs.
Contrary to most other CD rippers it does multiple reads and tries to create
exact copies if possible,
even if the CD is corrupted (by coincidence or otherwise).

Thank you.
Most Standards-Version updates are of the form "Bump
Standards-Version, no changes needed" and such updates should not be
done unless they accompany some other update like

Hi, I continue with some doubts :(
Actually I'm building 3 packages: libfoo for the library, libfoo-dev for the

Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for a NMU of the package "moodbar".
The upload would fix these bugs: 494938
It resolves that bug as well as a number of other
issues. Most important of those is dropping the recommends on
amarok. The moodbar plugin has not yet been ported to the amarok 2.

Don't do that. It's deprecated practice to have an upload that *only*
addresses Standards-Version; it should only ever be updated

Not so silly; a Python module can be useful both as a main program and
as a re-useable component in other programs. The well-known Python idiom

The ‘debian-python’ forum already mentioned, and the documentation (such
as it is) for the popular third-party ‘setuptools’ extension for the
