Hi,
I've a bug report #79224 against memprof who doesn't work anymore with
optimized libc6 libraries.
A LD_PRELOAD=/lib/libc-2.2.so doesn't work.
I've a solution :-)
Conflicts: libc6-i586, libc6-i686
Any other idea ?

Hi, Mentor-helpers ;-)
As read from packaging-manual, there're two ways to handle
system specific config files, one to list them in debian/conffiles,
the other is (optionally write a /usr/bin/pkgxxxconfig to aid) to
write/modify the config file in debian/postinst, and don't list them

Hi,
Sometime a ``dpkg -S /usr/bin/f'' fails to print out the package
which owns it. Could you please tell me why this may happen? i.e. what
is the possible reason(s) for it? Thanks!
Another question is, ``dpkg -S /usr/bin/f'' is notably slower than
``grep /usr/bin/f /var/lib/dpkg/info

I think this might be buggy, in that it's prolly never correct to send a

No, not the adult diapers.
What I would like to do is control the behaviour of dpkg-shlibdeps
wrt one library. In particular, I would like it to use lapack instead
of atlas2 because there is about a 5 Mb difference between the two
packages and I only need liblapack.

Hi!
I am currently waiting for DAM approval in NM queue.
The program I packaged is named 'potool'. It is a program and a
few scripts that greatly ease editing editing of po files,
using your favourite editor.
The package (lintian clean) is waiting for you at
