typo in changelog: fix or not?

Hi, suppose sometime in the changelog, an empty entry line, or an obvious typo, then is it proper to fix it or preserve it? (in case there is no historical reason to preserve it like, say, in the doc-debian case where there are some old entries back from the year 1996. :-) Best regards, zhaoway
