The current version in unstable is due to a stupid bug in the preinst-script
not installable.
Piupart has reported this and was not detected in my test environment
This version correct this issue.

So it is best practise to use always the latest autotools-dev during
compiling. Removing them afterwards in the delete target should not
cause anything mentioned in the diff. Sounds logical if i get you
correct.

IIRC, debhelper modified the upstream config.guess/config.sub files
during build and that was a serious problem for lintian to keep them
in diff. I hope that was correct.
