My mistake, sid has python3.4 3.4.0+20140425-1 but you would not get
that by installing python3, you would have to explicitly install python3.4.

Are you building on sid? Seems like you would need to build on
experimental to get python3.4:

re-uploaded it with a -1 suffix. It can downloaded with dget using this
command:
