Ooops. It seems the mail sent repeatedly due to network problems.
However I made a patch for the issue and pushed the code to Salsa. I
also put the new package on mentors:

Please take a look there.
I made a look at this and it seems it can not build any kind of font
(including variable) without first downloading opensans font source and
putting it there.
