Hi,
how can I specify the branch in debian/control VCS-Git? The upstream branch is
master and the debian branch has the name debian.
I want that debcheckout will checkout debian instead of master.
Thx,

Your package [1] has a dpatch in debian/patches, but there doesn't seem
to be any rule to actually (de)apply it nor any build dependency on dpatch?
I thought dpkg-statoverride was meant to make it possible for the

Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for the new revision 1.0-4
of the package "vbetool".
This is a QA upload, fixing various stuff in the package.
It builds these binary packages:
vbetool- run real-mode video BIOS code to alter hardware state
The package appears to be lintian clean.

operations.
1.Place some files in /etc/minicom directory
2. Place other files in /udev/ directory
3. Others in the home directory itself.
Can anyone please let me know how should i do it. I already did the
procedure, bu
Hello everybody,
Although it should never happen, sometimes a new package we submit to our
archive managers is rejected because the description of the copyright status of
its files is either incorrect or lacunar. This is waste of precious time for
everybody. In order to ameliorate the quality of o

IANADD, yet I find some issues in your package:
1. Your packages depends on grep (>= 5), yet the latest version of grep
in Debian is something like 2.5. What's so important about grep version
anyways ?
2. lintian -Ii gives a couple of other issues:
