As this package is still not in Debian, I would like to volunteer in packing it.

I had a quick look at your package. Here are some immediate comments:
- There are many template files from the debian dir
Peless is a simple text file lister. It uses gtkmm.
GPLed.
Somebody please put it in a debian repository.
I have already created a .deb file
