Adding docs to a package

How to add external docs to a package ( like in the package Mutt, for example) ? I think I must simply add the docs to the package-version directory and install them using dh_installdocs, musn't I ? How to make an info page ? I usually see that there's a man page and an info page for a program but

I have a: 3com fast therlink XL NIC (3c905B-TX) network card when I go to install the 3c509 or 3com EtherlinkIII 3c509 ISA ethernet card I get this error: /lib/modules.2.0.36/net/3c509.o: init_module: device or resource busy Installation failed. what should I do, why am I getting this error?
