Hi,
I created a debugging version of the package I created but the debugging
version has a slightly different config.h header. How do you guys handle
this situation (i.e. debugging headers slightly different from dev
headers). Where should I install the debugging headers?
Thanks,

Hello,
In my latest upload of eMusic, libemusic-dev was obsoleted (the author does
not build static libs anymore). How can I completely purge this from dselect?
Can I? Thanks.

I would suggest reposting to debian-user...

Bill, thanks for the pointer. I had multiple problems, so it would
seem. I'll tell the problems (with solutions) in the hopes others
reading this list will benefit from it.
(1) trying to ftp from my debian machine to ftp.netscape.com (which I
tried at first) failed, because I don't have the ipma

Greetings again folx. I've got Debian 2.0 "out of the box", and
looked on all 4 CD's for netscape. What I found did not seem to
contain the complete package. I tried to use alien to install
Netscape4 from my redhat 5.1 CD, but this failed. Netscape's home
page is built like spaghetti, so I woul
Greetings folx. I have an old HP ScanJet Plus connected to my
parallel port that I cannot seem to get working with Debian 2.0 no
matter what I try.
The parallel port has Base I/O address 0x378. I believe that this
is /dev/lp0. Someone please confirm / correct this for me.
Secondly, I'm running
