As per docs [1][2] it says one can look over DLA needed at the salsa repo
here[3].
Howeveer, the dla-needed.txt file seems to be mostly empty - only one linux
package which has been claimed.
Do I miss something here?

Per https://wiki.debian.org/LTS, there is no active LTS release in the
moment. Buster was EOL from LTS last month and Bullseye will become LTS
next
