any thoughts on mounting /dev/shm in the chrooted env for live-build ?

When putting debian-live-8.7.1-amd64-gnome-desktop.iso on a USB stick
and booting the USB stick in a Legacy mode, we still see a memtest86+
menu entry, but choosing this entry and pressing [Enter] leads nowhere.
