From a Debian live image, how do I initiate the install process?
Shouldn't this be at the front of the web/wiki pages about the live image? Not
only can I not find it there but I'm also not finding anything on Google.

To initiate the install process you need to put the cd into the PC, let the
PC boot to CD (you may need to make the CD drive the 1st boot option). Once

please someone verify, if I understood the following correctly:
1. live-build until today does not support uefi-boot for known reasons.

Live images are just that live they don't install.
Try here, select 8.5.0 or current folder, the select your architecture i.e.
amd64, i386, then iso-(cd or dvd) scrolldown the page to see the iso files
or bt-(cd or dvd).

I have the debian 8.5 live w/non-free image (xfce) and have and
installed with it at least twice from a usb stick.
There is, in my experience, no difference in the non-free and official
live install media. If there is no launcher on the desktop of the live
session look in the menu. Should be
