Hi,
I can't find where the fail-safe appended options are configured for
syslinux in live-build 3.x (I looked in syslinux-themes-debian and lb
debian-next).
Last time I asked, Daniel told me "it's somewhere hardcoded, i'll have
a look at it later". Any hint where this "somewhere" lives?

it's not, currently the syslinux templates do not have any failsafe
options handing at all, this waits for the cleanup of the syslinux
templates first.

Hi,
I tried recently to bootstrap a Debian sid with cdebootstrap, but have failed
with the cdebootstrap-helper-apt error, which popped up after cdebootstrap
installs it. Somehow, apt-get could not download Translations-en file.
I have tried different Debian mirrors, did not help.
What I did, I re-
The next version of live-build (current HEAD of debian-next branch in
git) now includes firmware by default in all images.
There are two new options to control the behaviour:
--firmware-binary true|false
includes firmware in the binary pool for d-i on the live media.
--firmware-chroot
