Sorry for the late reply, Passing the option "--apt-indices false" to "lb config", is indeed the correct solution, confirmed by https://manpages.debian.org/bullseye/live-build/lb_config.1.en.html and my own build results (saved 178MB of APT indices in the squashfs) Thank you
