that would only put the configuration file there, but you couldn't use
the repo; that's what config/chroot_
sources.list.d
Then copy your customSources.list to the directory you created above
and it should be included in your chroot.

For example to had custom package it's in /config/chroot_local-packages and not
in /config/packages.chroot ..
