Hi Daniel!
My USB stick is fine and I think there was some problem with the
filesystem structure. I ran the 'fsck' command on it and I think it have
fixed the problem, but what that is really interesting me is which
'dotfile' in particular is responsible for initialize the mouse in Debian?

'dotfiles'? do you mean to the hidden files which their name begin with a
dot? if yes, so I've noticed that when I'm trying to access the
.Xauthority file
Hi there!!
Recently, without any apparent reason, when I login to the XFCE4 desktop,
the mouse doesn't respond.
the strange thing is that if I boot the system without the 'persistence'
parameter, the mouse works fine.
any idea what's the problem?
Thanks in adva

so it must be something in your dotfiles then, you can try to "bisect"
them, or if you don't consider them valuable, just remove them.
