So I was wondering why this has not being done (or at least suggested, i
could not find anything in the archive) since ubuntu has been doing it for
so long
I find the ubuntu live-cd + installation to be very handy and i always
carry around an usb stick... I much rather be carrying around a debian
German question about live images, more likely to get answers on the
right mailing list...

This is just a bit of feedback from my perspective. I love Debian, and
have used it for years, but I have a few comments about the state of
affairs as they stand right now.
First, you are doing a great disservice to the project by separating the
installation and live cd into two different downloa
