Hi,
I would like for the bullseye live image I'm creating to use the
kernel from bullseye-backports.
I have put "--backports true" in my config file and I can see that
these sources are added to /etc/apt/sources.list.
I do not understand though, how best to actually install the
linux-image-amd64

Alternatively, I don't particularly care about orderly shutdown, so
if I could override all versions of "halt", "shutdown
Hi,
I'm using the Live project to make an NFS-root rescue environment.
It's mostly working fine, but when I halt or shut down from within
the live environment it seems to tear down the network almost
instantly which then causes the rest of the shutdown process to
stall presumably because it no lo

Hello,
Speaking as a fairly happy user of live-build, but not a contributor
to it. I also don't know anything about live-build-ng yet so it is
perhaps worth mentioning that while I always got the live-build
support I needed, I did always feel that Daniel was perhaps a bit
too brusque with people.

Package: live-build
Version: 2.0.12-2
Severity: wishlist
If a net image is built, then currently
/usr/share/live/build/scripts/build/lb_chroot_hacks forces
chroot/etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf to contain:
MODULES=netboot
BOOT=nfs
NFSROOT=auto
if it did not already have MODULES=netboot in it
Package: live-boot-initramfs-tools
Version: 2.0.15-1
Severity: wishlist
If the Linux kernel parameter "nfsopts" is used then scripts/live ends
up calling nfsmount incorrectly.
nfsmount is invoked like so:
nfsmount -o nolock -o ro ${NFSOPTS} "${NFSROOT}" "${mountpoint}" && rc=0 &&
break

Doh, really should have checked the BTS first. So
Hello,
I'm investigating using debian-live to provide a "rescue"
environment running under Xen, with an NFS root. I'd rather not use
PXE and DHCP to configure the network of the client, because I
already have all the network settings of the client to hand.
I'm getting stuck at the client's networ
