Alf,
Great you tried a few machines with USB image for real boot of
machines via the USB. I would assume that if the issue was of
larger scope of unknown variables that would affect more
machines then there be alot more raising the issue.

Testing via a VM is not the same as booting native on real
machine. I could list a number of LiveCD and Non-Live Images
that fail to boot in VM, but boot on real machine just fine.

Alf,
Testing via a VM is not the same as booting native on real
machine. I could list a number of LiveCD and Non-Live Images
that fail to boot in VM, but boot on real machine just fine.
I will repeat again same image same PC fails the LiveCD boot,
