Hi, My current system is a bios based system just so I know do the same
images like iso images work on both bios and the newer method or are

ISO images work on both bios and UEFI.

In any case make sure you implement it for both UEFI and BIOS boot. UEFI
uses GRUB2 menues and thus it's slightly different to the current proposed
isolinux
