thanks for your patch, however, note that we do not support building
anything but stable and oldstable with live-build 3.x (see
http://live.debian.net/project/lifespan and
http://live.debian.net/project/status). In live-build 4.x, we already
carry the necessary change

I have same issues with proxy too. I have configured proxy with "lb
config" and instruct apt to use proxy via config file
config/includes.chroot/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/proxy. But after running "lb
clean && lb config && lb build" process stops right after "lb
bootstrap_archive-
