one thing that has been mentioned on this list, but for which there
doesn't yet seem to be a good fix for is separating out the console and
x keyboard options. as previously mentioned by another poster if my
keyboard is latin american have the choice of setting
LH_BOOTAPPEND_LIVE="keyb=latam"
I had another search in the internet. There were many bugs concerning xorg and
the right Alt-key reported this summer, but no solution! That's what I did this
evening:
Boot from liveCD
startx
Right Alt-key doesn't work
exit (of the GUI)
startx
Right Alt-key works fine

image over http boot earlier.
At least booting iso images over http works around the annoying bug in
mksquashfs that causes the resulting squashfs to be inacessible to the
