Hi all,
I've been working on a liveCD/USB based on Debian-live. I'm using
live-helper (1.0.3-2) and live-initramfs (1.156.1-1) from the current
stable release (Lenny).
I've created two partitions in a USB stick, the first one for the
live-system and the second one to be used as a persistent home

Yes, kill (remove) 75-persistent-net-generator.rules when building your
LiveCD.

Hi Marco,
Try to use "live-persistence.binds", just specify /etc/udev/rules.d/ in
that file at build time.
Thanks a lot :) Seems to be a clean way to achieve my goal. And I could
use this to put e.g. /var/log on a tmpfs. Thanks again :)

Cyril

Ok, that was simple enough.
No when I try it, though, I wonder if it will be possible to reach out to the
remaining space on the USB stick from within the Live OS.
I would like to run the Live OS, save some files from it onto the USB stick,
then shutdown the OS, insert the USB stick into a Wind

Hi all,
I'm using Debian Live on Alix boards. The system is on a CF card and the
root filesystem is writable (full persistence). So far so good. The
first time I boot the system, udev write the MAC address of the network
interfaces into /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and because I
Hi list,
I'd like to consult with the members of the list with a small issue I'm
facing.
We use a DebianLive-based CDROM (current version is based on Etch) to
provide a testing environment for our customers: We produce a hardware
that uses the out-of-tree Zaptel/DAHDI drivers, and mainly used by
