x27;m dropped back into Fluxbox. The
syslog for a typical attempt is pasted below.
Since I'm getting warnings about failing to suspend usb devices, I tried
adding
UnloadAllModules yes
UnloadModules uhci_hcd ehci_hcd
to hibernate.conf, but neither line fixes the problem. Any other
suggestion

had to switch to the
686 kernel to get it all recognized. I'm not sure how to investigate,
but perhaps you need a different kernel or a kernel module? Just
guessing.

me to exit
fluxbox and restart X. After that everything is fine.
I had some more serious problems with hibernating and the external
monitor, which I fixed by adding:
OnResume 20 xrandr --auto
to /etc/hibernate/common.conf. Any suggestions on how to correct the
color without restarting X?

I found that using Grub instead of Lilo fixed this for me. For

Good lord, does it need to be this complicated? Just set both of your
mail apps to leave messages on the server for 15 days or something.

Not sure which of them will be compatible with Debian though. At least
this is somewhere to start. :-)

The only thing keeping me from building my own slimmed-down Kernel in
