I'm from Brazil and I'm new here!
I have a Toshiba Satellite 2800 S201.
lspci gives to me this video card :
S3 Inc.86C270-294 Savage/IX-MX (rev 11).
I have problems to install the driver
stored in
http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html.
I copied the files to defined dir.
I created t

My sound card is my problem now ;-)
lspci gives to me :
- Multimedia audio controller: Yamaha
Corporation YMF-754 [DS-1E Audio
Controller]
- I tried run alsaconf.
- In alsaconf I selected my sound card
(0x37 YAMAHA_YMFXX), and pressed OK.
- "Card identifier : CARD_0" (then OK).
