Could someone please be so kind as to tell me how to get dri enabled in
sarge. The install went perfectly, but all I need to do is somehow
recompile the kernel I already have in as few steps as
possible(configuration I can do) but I need more consise or precise help
than the stuff
.
Heretofore, my efforts result in the error that the driver can only be
compiled for kernels 2.4 and later. Obvisously a header is missing, or
something.
Idiot proof instructions are appreciated, as things like, "remember to use
kernel agpart"(okay this I can do, but you get the idea)

Hey! I have an FSC Amilo A1630 and wanne know if anyone of you have any experience with debian on this laptop. I also wanne ask about the hardware informations. I couldn find any special informations aubout this laptop except the normal sell infos. thxAufnehmen, abschicken, nah sein - So einfach is

I'm now trying for some time to install Skape on my Laptop (amilo a1630). But
the best thing i was able to get was a ringing. neather I was able to hear my
friend nor was he able to hear me.
it seems like I'm using oss (i don't know cause I'm new in linux):

thx now at least I'm able to hear something but i think that nobodycan hear me
is couse of my micro in my laptop. have to get m a headset.
