the same thing yesterday, i didn't know the synaptics driver was removed - but that would certainly explain the problem. I did this to fix it, restart X and hal afterwards: http://www.felipe-alfaro.org/blog/2008/10/11/scrolling-with-the-thinkpads-trackpoint-in-ubuntu-810-intrepid/ --

o much for it. If i had to chooce between extra MHz extra HD or extra RAM, i think i would go for RAM, that would make compiling c, running python and translating latex documents, a lot easier. Just my 5 cents. -- Best Regards / Venlig Hilsen Rasmus Toftdahl Olesen [EMAIL

both system and user actions. I use it to setup the proxy according to where i am, and also to switch between different X configuration files, since i have two monitors at home (well one additional to the one on the laptop). Debian packages are available from: deb http://dev.infon

fine it using a nice graphical user interface. But i'm still waiting to see what Red Hat manages to come up with in their network-manager tool. Just my 5 (euro) cents. -- Rasmus Toftdahl Olesen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

just warnings (WW) or information (II) - so the problem is the mouse device. You might have to add the psmouse module or some of the event modules. -- Rasmus Toftdahl Olesen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
