Hello,

Kernel-modules. PCMCIA is working fine with my 10 mbit NE2000 compatible noname

The last four lines are only there because I ejected after trying to
ping another host. I don't think there is something wrong with the
pcmcia-package in general

Hi,
I downloaded netdrivers-3.0.1.src.rpm from ftp://ftp.scyld.com/pub/network/
I put the driver-sources in /usr/src/modules/netdrivers and tried to
compile them just typing 'make'.
I get the following compiling errors:
/usr/src/linux/include/asm/spinlock.h:26: conflicting types for
`spinlock_t'

Hello,
I have a Sony Vaio F212K. My BIOS has an option to reduce CPU speed if
the computer is idle. I want to try the option to see if it works with
linux and to save some battery power. Does anyone know a programm to
measure the cpu speed or even better the clockrate? The KDE control

Hello!
I want to buy a pcmcia-ethernet-card for my notebook. I have a Sharp

First, is a 10 MBit/s card enough or should I buy a 100 MBit/s card?
Are these cards much more expensive?
Furthermore, are there any problems with the
