Hi, I just installed Debian on my laptop. For some reason, my date keeps
getting advanced by days at a time. I think the problem could be caused by
power management. Currently, BIOS makes the system go to sleep even if I don't
let Linux manage power.
I am using the standard Kernel version 2.2.19

Hi. The man page for apmd says it is possible for it to manage my hard
disk. I don't see any information on how this is done.
My question is can the apmd and the apmd_proxy script do this or
will this need to be done by changing settings in my BIOS?
Thanks in advance.

Hi. I create my kernel with the kernel-package. I compile my pcmcia modules
from the
pcmcia source using make all then make install.
I would like to create a pcmcia-modulespackage to match my kernel package so
everything
could be managed by Debian.
Does anyone know the procedure to do this?
