usb stick and fujitsu biblo lifebook b112

I am trying tob ringn old fujitsu biblo lifebook b112 to life. However, I cannot mount my USB stick. It is not present in the mnt directory nor in the dev directory. Can anyone help or advise me. Thank you in advance, Toxic Charley

rt2500 pc card on fujitsu biblo lifebook b112

I have successfully installed Debian Sarge on my stone age Fujitsu Biblo Lifebook B112 (1999). The only thing that won't work is wireless. I have an E-tech PC Card adaptor with a rt2500 chip. Tried several things. However, no success at all. Any ideas? Thank you in advance, Toxic Charley
