Has anyone sucessfully installed debian on a Prostar 8593? I've tried
the netinst disks and the release (2.2r2) isos.
I always hang after the md driver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, got past the md problem, used the idepci disks, no scsi so
nothing to worry about.
My problem now is the nic. I know the driver is the Realtek 8139too in
the 2.2.18 kernel but I'm getting "resources temporarily unavailable"
when I do ifup eth0. The settings in /etc/network/interfaces is
I finally got debian installed (potato) on this laptop. I've been
trying to get the laptop to use the NIC but I've been having problems.
I've compiled both drivers into the kernel seperately (realtek 8139, and
realtek8139too)
With just the driver, ifup etho gives me "resources temporarily
