Well, Dell BIOS's are notoriously broken. You might try some of the
things at acpi.sourceforge.net or use software suspend.

Hello Zsolt, this is probably a BIOS issue. Check your BIOS and make
sure SUSPEND is enabled for AC as well as BATTERY.
