I've got an HP Pavilion dv5 laptop loaded with Lenny. Everything works
smoothly under the amd64 kernel version 2.6.32 I have installed from
sid. I installed this kernel for its presumably better support with
hibernate/suspend and with the hope that it will eliminate a weird thing

will report back. It seems to be a problem with many users as it can be
seen from Ubuntu forums.
I tried the free nVidia driver but it caused more problems. The system
would not wake up properly (just a blank screen) and
