I'm running Debian Etch on a Toshiba Satellite A100, I had no issues
for several months until yesterday.
After I did an
apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade
something apparently went wrong and the system started to freeze
completely after a few minutes, each time I had to restart it b

no I am not using the ipw3945...at least not now:). I

Thanks for your reply Freddy. I usually configure my wireless card with a
self written bash script. It's very simple to use- especially if you don't
want your wireless interface to come up by itself. In your opinion, will
wpasupplicant make it easier to configure an interface? I use WEP
encryp
