I loaded the module in modconf, adding "proto=imps" and it responded with the generic PS/2 mouse detected again, and everything is working. I added it as a boot parameter in LILO so it won't be there with the old or newer kernels unless I specifically add it. Many thanks, Curt- On Monday 23 M
