Problemi con /tmp/.ICE-unix e runlevel 2

Salve a tutti. Ho dei problemi con il mio computer: non parte, si blocca prima che init entri nel runlevel 2, cioe' subito dopo aver letto il file /tmp/.ICE-unix (credo dipenda dal xfree86-common). Da notare che questo me lo fa con i kernel 2.6 (2.6.8.1 e 2.6.9) e non con il 2.4.24. Oltretutto que
