What do you you want to do with "open" midifiles? Play them? Install pmidi or

I really like debian (testing) on my dell 5100. Got everything working
well, but I would like to clean up some errors I see in my logs on
startup. Appreciated any ideas on what I can do to remove these errors:
I get the following sequence 31 times on startup:
