I have a HP laptop with a ATI Radeon IGP 345M graphics card. Does
anyone out there know if there is a driver for it? Right know I'm using
the vesa driver, which is rather slow, but acceptable since I don't do
gaming.
The reason I want to move away from vesa is that I'm using PAW (physics

I plan on trying with my Compaq Evo N800c & docking station (with DVI) but am told may not work coz its a universal docking station that may only work with laptops that have DVIs on board (which mine doesn't)

To be quite honest, i don't know why the problem occured in the first
place. Initially, I played around with it without any
suceess. Strangely enough, the xfree86 upgrade went smoothly when i tried a
week later which made me think if all this was due to a bug in the package
. I still have so

sarge), which pulled down XFree4.3.
I then updated the GATOS ATI drivers from sourceforge and installed
them, but unfortunately atitvout still refuses to allow me to connect
an external monitor (or projector).
