I have some problems with my new laptop toshiba 2450
and XFree 4.2. I have a GeForce 4 420 32mb. I
compiled the driver from Nvidia but X doesn't start..
There are no errors in the X log file... It is very strange...

edit file /etc/modules and add a line that says this:
apm power_off=1

initialize the card and dial *99***1# using chatscript, but pppd ignores all
