Hi,
use the cvs snapshot from xfree86.org. I compiled 4.2.99, as I described
here some time ago, it works fine for me and others as I got from the
replies.

Hi!
I've got a little problem with the IEEE1394 support on my computer, a
Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop...
when I plug my shiny iPod (which works really good under f*cking
windows) to the computer, the laptop suddenly hangs.
I recompiled my kernel yesterday (I had 2.4.18-bf2.4, and moved to
2.4.2
I have the same setup (dell 8200). You need either 4.2.99 or 4.3. I'm using the
ones
from http://ktown.kde.org/~nolden/ (thanks btw) and it works beautifully. I get
~ 2000 fps
w/ glx gears.

Hi!
I've used a EagleTec PCMCIA modem for a while. It worked with 2.4.20 and now
I want to use it with 2.5, but I have some problems with it:
