I recently purchased my first wireless card. The card is detected under the default kernel in debian rev4, but not under the 2.4.17 kernel. I assume that I am missing a module or something. Can someone that is using the Orinoco Gold Wireless card send me a copy of their 2.4.x .config file ?

I sent a mail a few days ago complaining about the 2.4.16-k6 kernel image not working with my PCI-to-Card.. bridge. But af reading the docs a bit more carefully I found out that I should use the yenta_socket driver insted. So now everything works just fine. -- Mvh|Regards, Lars Perl developer -

I've got a Scenic M700 with ESS 1888 soundchip, running woody and a self-rolled 2.2.19 with apmd. The sounddevice is reckognized properly and the modules sb,sound,soundcore and uart401 are inserted after 'modprobe sb'. So far so good, but pcm is playing back with the wrong speed. Waves or mp3s so
